I can haz personality?

I truly have no idea what the hell i'm doing. For a start, im not even paying attention to my spelling grammar punctuation, and i have ocd with that kinda stuff. im not even writing proper words! why? because i lack personality. i look at this one persons blog who inspires me so much(or is it envy?), and i see how she ''writes'' and suddenly let go of all my beliefs and go along with it. theoretically, i would like to be taking photos right now and after a raid of blogs and flickr, i feel a little lost. First of all, i have this group of photographers, makeup artists, models, etc.. from singapore, taking the most amazing edgy pictures. and i feel so inspired to try something like that, but to my knowledge i have no model who would be willing to pose for me seeing how i lack in experience (''maybe you should try going to photograph something then!'' um. no. i have my computer in front of me, my doors and curtains closed, why should i get off my lazy ass?), and looking at these pictures, i would probably need a 1000$ camera, and stylist, make up artist, and a hairstylist. (see?? i put an 'and' after a comma!! what is the world coming to...) so yea, the thought depresses me. And then i look at other amazing american blogs who write about glamour from the 60's - 80's and i feel inspired all over again.... thing is, its so much easier to do that because i actually know a few people who would look great with this look, but by the time i meet with them i will probably be sitting on my bed looking at 'edgy' pictures again and have forgotten all about my supposed 'inspiration'.

So yes, i have 0 personality. if i cant even decide what i like, how the hell am i going to have a personality?? urgh.

just so you see what im talking about, here are the 2 'inspiration' sources:

Singapore people:
>i especially love the ones of the girl in the fur coat - the girl is so pretty, and the owner of the tumbler is the photographer(makes me so jealous, but i will get there one day? hopefully? pwease?)
>she is a makeup artist, doing all types of shoots but her makeup is really, really beautiful and innovative compared to what ive seen(i havent seen much, but her work makes me happy from the moment i see it)
>not inspired as much by this, but the guy(yes, its a guy) is sooo beautiful and has the most amazing features... i do think he goes a little far, but its always interesting to see the extremes of things
>amazing photgrapher, so young as well! his photos are simply beautiful. he shot some of the photos for the makeup artist above, and he is so inspired, but hes never been published! :(
>again, really talented photgrapher, and quite well known in singapore.malaysia.philippines
>makeup artist and former model, amazing work
>great photgrapher

American Glamour:
>i saw this awhile ago and only came back to it in my most vulnerable state of mind... i wanna do this look now!!
>i love this, so much. i love the controlled curls, the real women, marion cotillard(french power!! haha) and everything :D

i rant so much...

School Look

This is my au-naturel(ish) look that I use for school. I really like Bobbi Brown, so I usually use her make-up for foundation, powder, concealer, blush, etc...(basically everything for the skin). Her products look really natural and beautiful and they make you glow before applying any type of eye/mouth make-up. For all my looks, I start by applying concealer under my eyes(I use an eyeshadow, its the Bobbi Brown 'Shell, 17' I use it for everything: blush, concealer and eye shadow). I then apply the Bobbi Brown 'Extra Light Tint' tinted moisturizer, everywhere except where I applied the concealer. Then the powder(I use my mother's which is a bit too orange for me, its Bobbi Brown Powder 'Sunny Beige, 2'), blush(the one I used as concealer, and a pinker shade on top; 'Nectar, 11'), eyeshadow(n° 7 from Boots), eyeliner(a nice turquoise one, or black one, usually liquid) then mascara.

That looks like a lot, but turns out it doesn't take that long - usually it only takes me 5/10 minutes. I sometimes use a lip colour(Barely Plum Lucious,05 also from Boots) but only when I have time because I put on make-up before breakfast, so I need time to eat and  brush my teeth before applying lip colour.

Here is what it usually looks like:

Strawberry Eyes

Ok, so after looking around the internet for more ideas(I have a very limited imagination when it comes to make-up), I came across this, which looked really good and didn't look too difficult. However, I thought that it would be hard to do on yourself so I did it on my usual guinea pig, my sister.

This is what the idea looked like originally:

I attempted it, and ended very pleased with the results actually! But she is a very impatient guinea pig and decided that she couldn't be bothered to sit for another half hour while I was trying to recreate the make-up from the photo, so we ended up only doing the make-up under the eyebrow.
Here are the results:

I did the dots with liquid eyeliner, which in retrospect isn't the best idea. I realised a bit late that this make-up needed some planning; I did the pink eyeshadow first, only to realise that the dots should really be filled with white. I also didn't realise that its VERY hard to take off eyeshadow in a very small area, especially since that area is contoured with liquid eyeliner, which smudges with water.... I'm so smart. Anyway, it didn't end up too  badly, but I really want to do it again. My sister has a very green eye, so maybe next time I'll try it on that eye rather than on the brown one.

Russian Doll lips

Today was Russian lip day. I've seen this around quite a bit recently, but i wasn't sure about it. After trying it out, I can say thats its definitely something you would wear as part of a costume - it would look strange if I wore it on the streets. However, I really had fun doing both the hair and the make-up, and its something I would recommend to everyone. Although I stayed with the conventional red lips, I think next time I'll try it with colours that are more exciting, something like purple or orange. Actually, I would love to see what effect black has when the lip is only partially covered. So many looks, so little time!!

First try - Smoky Eye

Today I tried the smoky eye for the first time, and it looked good with my bathroom lighting, but on photo the results were not as striking. I definitely need to try this again, but perhaps with another lip colour? This looked good on Taylor Momsen, both with red and neon pink lips. I tried editing my pictures and here's the result:

Meh.

Red lips

Next on  my list (actually, it's the first thing I thought of) were bright red lips. Somehow I don't think I would wear this on the street, but I definitely think it suits me, so I'll wait to be older to wear it casually. Here are some pictures:
